KIEKIE FAQ'S

What is a Kiekie?

A Kiekie (pronounced Ki-ē-ki-ē) is a waist garment predominately worn by Tongan women as a sign of respect, identity and dignity as it embodies the binding of our people and our ties to the land. It's significance lies in tradition as a visual representation of our cultural heritage. It is traditionally handmade from pandanus leaves, hibiscus and coconut fibres.

What is your production timeframe?

Please order at least 2 weeks in advance as our Kiekie's are made to order, and subject to stock availability.

What sizes do you offer?

Our sizes currently range from 12 to 26, however we will review this periodically depending on demand and supply.

Do you offer custom Kiekie's?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer custom made at his time.
